Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
This policy explains what information WebToolDock handles when you visit this website, what stays on your device, and the choices and rights available to you. Our tools do not create accounts and do not ask for personal information.
Tool inputs stay on your device
Calculations, conversions, and file processing run locally in your browser. The numbers you enter, the files you open, and the results you generate are not transmitted to a WebToolDock server and are not stored by us.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process basic request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals. This information helps deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose reliability issues.
Local browser storage
Some features — such as remembering your theme preference and the tools you recently used — use your browser's local storage. This information stays on your device, is not sent to us, and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate traffic, device performance, and which tools are useful. We do not use tool inputs as analytics events and do not build profiles from your calculator activity.
Advertising and cookies
When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and — where you have consented — personalize ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info. Learn more in Google's advertising technologies policy.
Consent and your choices
Where required by law — for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — we will ask for your consent through a consent notice before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change or withdraw those choices at any time using the controls presented on the site. You can also adjust browser cookie settings and use the vendor opt-out links above.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These can include the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for advertising. Because our tools run in your browser, we hold very little personal information. To exercise a right, email hello@webtooldock.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Children's privacy
WebToolDock is a general-audience utility website. It is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and reliability. Information you send us by email is kept only to handle your request. Local browser data remains on your device until you clear it.
International transfers
Our hosting, analytics, and advertising providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Data Privacy Framework.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site, legal requirements, analytics, or advertising features change. The date above shows the latest revision.
